26 ноября 2020 года Национальная библиотека РС(Я) совместно с Николаев Центром провели обсуждение документального фильма «Михаил Николаев: Я благодарен своему народу» на платформе Zoom.
Фильм был показан на НВК «Саха» в день рождения М.Е.Николаева 13 ноября 2020 года.

Фильм является первым фильмом из планируемой серии фильмов, посвященных 100-летию Республики Саха (Якутия).
Компания «Сахафильм» выпустила фильм совместно с творческой группой «Кун оголоро» (Дети Солнца).
«Күн оҕолоро» («Дети солнца») — так называется серия документальных фильмов Сардааны Барабановой о разных деревнях Якутии.
Авторы фильма: Сардаана Барабанова и Диана Худаева.

Диана Худаева, специальность «режиссер» она получила в Университете кино и телевидения г. Санкт-Петербург, на кафедре телевизионной журналистики.
